Bits of Power, the thriller about a single overheard conversation in Milan that puts the entire global financial system at risk, is now in development as both a short film and a feature-length screenplay, written by Daniel Meager.
This is big news. The code. The chase. The CIA and GCHQ scrambling to contain it. North Korea and China racing to use it. A cryptographer and a hacker willing to kill for it. And private investigator Adrian Thorn caught right in the middle of all of it. Everything that makes Bits of Power such a gripping read is now being brought to life on screen, in two formats, for two very different audiences.
The short film will deliver the tension and stakes in a sharp, punchy package. The feature-length version will give the full story room to breathe, every twist, every threat, every move and countermove.
The theme of this film/screenplay is focused on digital privacy and sovereignty, and how quantum computers may render all encryption invalid and the implications this has for society.
